Busbud is thrilled to report that it has been selected as a winner for the 2nd edition of the Global Adventure Competition! Busbud will represent Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces.
The competition is organized by the UK Trade and Investment Canada and supported by the C100. UK Trade and Investment Canada helps Canadian businesses launch their global adventures from the UK, and helps UK companies sell into Canada.
The Global Adventure Competition competition looks to introduce Canada’s most promising innovative technology companies to the UK’s vibrant tech community.
As part of the prize, the Busbud team will fly to the UK to meet potential business partners, receive advice and mentoring from international business specialists and network with investors, companies and incubators.
We’re looking forward to immerse itself in the the UK’s vibrant tech community and connect with world-class investors and leading companies. We also hope to exchange with government officials about transportation, tourism and the future mobility in the UK and worldwide.
Busbud is looking to reinvent bus travel by being a “worldwide online bus station”. Intercity bus travel is very popular in the UK and we look forward to connect with leading bus operators to form strategic partnerships. We also think London, a major worldwide travel hub, will be an excellent gateway to help us execute our broader European strategy.
