Busbud is happy to announce that is has been shortlisted for the 2013 Innovator of the Year by Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) as part of the Vision 2 Reality Awards.
The Innovator of the Year Award acknowledges “the company that has best demonstrated the commercialization of an innovative technology solution. The innovation must be new, unique and a game changer—and customer acceptance must be demonstrated”.
Busbud joins an impressive list of 20 top Canadian startups, including awesome Montreal companies Frank & Oak, Wajam and PasswordBox.
All 20 startups are competing for “Up and Coming Companies” nominations and hope to take home the coveted “Innovator of the Year” prize.
In 2012, the Innovator of the Year prize was won by Wattpad, a Toronto-based company which has created the world’s largest community for readers and writers with 10 million unique users in 2012 who spend about 2.4 billion minutes per month on average with the service.
Winners will be announced in November 2013!
