More good news! We’re glad to announce that Busbud was recently selected as a finalist for this year’s Red Herring Top 100 North America award. The distinction honours the year’s most promising private technology ventures from North America.
Red Herring has been selecting the most exciting and promising start-ups since 1995. Busbud is one of 10 companies in Canada and 2 in Quebec to be chosen in 2014. Fellow Montreal startup Wajam had made the list in 2012.
The startups in this list have been selected among a pool of hundreds of companies based across the US and Canada, in the fields of security, Web 2.0, software, hardware, life sciences, cloud, mobile and more. The selections for the 2014 edition of this award were based upon technological innovation, management strength, market size, investor record, customer acquisition and financial health.
Finalists are asked to present their winning strategies at the Red Herring North America Forum in Monterey, California.
